New Feature: Profit Analysis
This enhancement came directly from one of our customer’s suggestions. Last year, we had a reseller from the Apple Consultants Network in Canada say that they would really like to be able to see the profit margin by line while on an invoice. The reseller would take orders over the phone and haggle a bit on the price. The problem was that it wasn’t easy to see how tight the margin was. If the reseller gave a 10% discount, how did it affect profitability?
We implemented this new feature in the US version of AccountEdge 2010 for Mac (and it’s coming real soon in AccountEdge for Windows). For our Canadian friends, you’ll see this in the spring some time.
