Updated 1099 Assistant
Release 16.1.2 was made available today for AccountEdge Pro 2012 (choose Check for Updates to download). This update includes not only payroll changes and enhancements/bug fixes, but also an updated 1099 Assistant.
The IRS changed the rules for printing Form 1099-MISC. You are now required to EXCLUDE any payments made to vendors via credit card, debit card, Paypal and other similar payment processors.
