Virtual TimeClock adds AccountEdge Integration

Redcort Software, the publishers of Virtual TimeClock, recently announced that they’ve integrated their payroll time clock solution with AccountEdge 2010 for Mac and Windows.

You can think of Virtual TimeClock as a time clock which your employees can punch in and out of as they begin work, take lunch, clock out for the day… The software will also create timecard reports by employee and can even let you monitor who’s in and out (eg. Tom’s at Lunch).

The integration sends time sheets down to AccountEdge for use in payroll.  Although the app may track what the employe is working on, it does not integrate with AccountEdge’s time billing features. Think of it as a way to replace paper time sheets or an old fashioned punch clock for payroll.

The Pro version which offers the integration is available for Mac and Windows is a networkable app allowing everyone to access the same database.
