AccountEdge 2011 r15.0.2 Released
AccountEdge 2011 r15.0.2 for the US was released yesterday. This update includes payroll changes for 2011 as well as addressing a variety of defects including issues with forms, fonts, report formatting, AccountEdge Mobile sync, Network Edition -600 network errors and other minor issues.

Progress Billing
AccountEdge 2011 introduces support for Progress Billing. Think of progress billing as a way to create a quote and billing it out in phases or over time. For example a construction project where we’ll invoice out 10% now, 50% half way and 40% upon completion. We allow for different ways to break it down (percent, quantity, dollar amounts…). AccountEdge Mobile was approved by Apple last night (an impressive five-day turnaround) and is now available as a free download from the iTunes App Store. Exciting! Reminder: we’re iPad only for the next couple weeks (in the final stages of testing the iPhone app) and the app will only work with AccountEdge (Mac or Windows) 2011. -Scott
